Salvaged Wood Rare Artist Original
Salvaged Wood Rare Artist Original
This plaque of the Chester Waterous Bridge is made from salvaged wood from the Waterous bridge by artist and former resident of Pepperell, Robert Cebula. There are only two of these plaques that exist; one is with Bob Lee the Director of the Pepperell DPW and the other one is being offered to the public in this auction. This plaque is rare because it is made from a very small piece of wood that was used to mount the brass dedication plaque onto the bridge. Unlike other salvaged wood items, this wood was unstained because it was not exposed. The original bolt hole that was used to mount the brass plaque is visible. The image was woodburned by hand onto the wood and it measures approximately 12 x 7 1/4 inches.
